Rowridge (Isle Of Wight, England) transmitter

I live in postcode RG25 2EE. Hannington is the recommended transmitter, but since we are in a valley Rowridge is the one used by most. We have 2 aerials on roof - one for each transmitter. These are combined to a single downlead (using a proper combiner) and it served well for analogue since Rowridge signal degrades under some weather or atmospheric conditions and Hannington is better for some Analogue channels, but we had both tuned on the TV's. With Digital, TV's seem to tune only to Rowridge (~C28-34). Do we really need to choose a transmitter, and unplug the other Rowridge aerial if we want to tune to Hannington?
