Problem resolved itself - if only they'd let us know, then we'd not have worried something was wrong with out TV !!
Thanks for your help and hope someone takes note that some customer relations would have been nice i.e. a warning.

Nearly went out to purchase a new TV and the BBCi page KEEPS opening up on BBC1 - 12 hours on and still not working ok. If I try BBC2 it defaults back to BBC1 and then on the interactive page again. How frustrating !!!
Thankfully I have SKY and VIRGIN channels - they kind inform me if they are working on anything.
