There doesn't appear to be any further planned changes in the Meridian region (at this time!!). Whether any "tweaking" will be needed anywhere in the country once the other clearance events have completed on the 29th April remains to be seen :o

Are you still having to point your loft aerial through a party wall? Is there no position you can put it in that would eliminate that or go over the edge of it?

I'm afraid there are many pages on this site than need updating. The site owner has not had time to update the many changes as a result of the 700MHz clearance. Hopefully that will happen once all the changes are complete.

And it doesn't look as though the problem will "improve" any with the Waltham retune on the 4th March. C37 remaining unchanged, C31 might be worse as COM6 replaces COM7 which moves to C55.

The transmitter isn't listed at present for Planned Engineering which could explain this. Do you know what sort of time they return?
I'm wondering if there's some sort of interference, but can you confirm when this started? Was it after the retune event, or did it start before then?

As StevensOnln1 has said if you provide a postcode he can check what transmitter(s) & multiplexes you might receive.

Using an aerial in a loft shouldn't make any difference if you are in a good enough signal area. The only thing with a Group T compared to your old C/D is it might not have as much gain.
What is the make/model of the Group T aerial that you've got? Do you know what you old C/D one was?
Can you tell us with your new aerial what the signal strength and quality in your TV's tuning section is for the following -
New PSB1/BBCA on C32, old PSB1 on C50, PSB2/D3&4 on C59, & ArqA/COM5 on C49.
I'm still puzzled as to why the BBC channels on 751 ...... are not as good as before the retune (head scratching).
Can you give us your postcode so we can look at your predicted coverage?

I hope you've got the FM aerial connected through a VHF/UHF diplexer. It will have some insertion loss of course. Have you checked all the connections recently, make sure they are clean and free of corrosion?

Without a full postcode we cannot look at which transmitter(s) you may receive and how good the signal may be at your location.
The best we can suggest at this point is -
Check all your coax plugs, connections, flyleads etc, unplug connectors check for corrosion or other problems and reconnect them. Flyleads are a common problem, try swapping/changing them. See what signal strengths and quality you are getting for the multiplexes shown in your TV's tuning section. Also check that your downlead looks undamaged (especially if it is old) and that your aerial seems intact and pointing in the correct direction.
Problematic connections, water ingress etc. can seem to affect reception of just an individual or several multiplexes.
Have you moved anything about, or connected new equipment?
Sometimes HDMI leads near unscreened/poorly screened flyleads/aerial leads can cause interference.

The Freeview Detailed Coverage Checker shows highly variable reception from The Wrekin at your location and of course it is Central Region. Now you get the NW region which I assume pleases you. Whether or not you'll get any usable signal from COM7 with a Group A aerial you can only try if you want. COM8 prediction is variable until other changes elsewhere on the 22nd April when it should improve to be similar to COM7.
Mr R. Tyson:
Anyone having to use Freeview Helplines needs Good Luck for whatever reason!! Their issue here will no doubt be understaffing. Because other major regions had similar changes last year, it's not as though that they couldn't anticipate demand being much higher because Granada (Winter Hill) serves a very large population 2nd only to London!
It's certainly strange that you are finding the signal on C50 not as good as previously.
