This is all very well, but perhaps they should be giving free TV licences to the over 75s who are NOT on a HIGH rate tax code instead of the silly over complicated Pension Credit form filling nonsense.

All:

FYI a new Local multiplex started on the 25th March on UHF C29 at 4kW, this is in addition to the existing one on C33 according to DigitalUK/Freeview documentation.

Simple, it should be funded through general taxation to do all the PSB responsibilities - those that can afford to pay would be paying, those that don't earn enough aren't. And that could be supplemented by advertising for all the other stuff they want to do. I do NOT agree with subscription!

C Burlison-Rush:

Firstly the BBC won't report on any muxes that don't carry their channels, and bear in mind I was also going by the Freeview checker saying (currently) there was a problem
Secondly, it'll depend a bit on what the fault(s) actually are, bear in mind that the COM muxes at Midhurst are transmitted with half the power that the PSBs use, so if the transmitter has an overall reduction in power, there could appear to be a greater impact on the COM muxes depending on your location.
Looking at the checker for your location, COM6 is perhaps likely to be affected more in such circumstances, but again it depends on what the "unspecified" problem is.
If you put your postcode (& house name/number to get the most accurate results) into the checker at Platform management | Freeview you'll see the predicted reception in normal circumstances.

In the current covid-19 situation, it may take longer than normal to get the fault fixed, I doubt anyone will give us more information.

Even if you don't use any BBC services, if you watch ANY live TV you need a TV licence!

Unfortunately a lot of DAB pages don't have coverage maps or other data and those with coverage maps don't correctly work if Pro Mode is enabled. Only the site owner when/if he has time can sort this out.
As I believe I've mentioned before, there doesn't seem to be anywhere other than for the BBC multiplexes where DAB faults are reported/listed.
The most reliable source I've found for DAB ensemble data is DAB Ensembles Worldwide | Latest News & Updates which is one of the links I mentioned to you on the Findon page.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "population" problems, however, if it's actually the Sudbury transmitter that you're supposed to be receiving, I can't trace any reported faults either by Freeview or the BBC. Without a full postcode, it's not possible to look at predicted reception for your location and which transmitter(s) you may/should be receiving.

Have you changed anything around moved any/added any equipment. It may pay to check all your coax plugs, connections, flyleads etc, unplug connectors check for corrosion or other problems and reconnect them. Flyleads are a common problem, try swapping/changing them. See what signal strengths and quality you are getting for the multiplexes shown in your TV's tuning section. Also check that your downlead looks undamaged (especially if it is old) and that your aerial seems intact and pointing in the correct direction.
Problematic connections, water ingress etc. can seem to affect reception of just an individual or several multiplexes.

Peter Kemp:

Hi, the Ashburton relay does have Planned Engineering at present with "Possible service interruptions".
Unfortunately Freeview/DigitalUK haven't indicated how much longer the work will continue.

Indeed it is, as shown on the map at the top of the page. Obviously when the site owner has time, he needs to correct the page title to read "Achill (Achill Island, Ireland) Saorview Transmitter".

Jenny Game:

This particular page is a historical page and unlikely to receive any update. Also as the site owner has not had time to keep all the current transmitter pages up-to-date with the changes resulting from the 700MHz clearance, a number of other updates may not happen for some time.
As an independent help site, if you need help with reception or other technical problems, please post on the relevant transmitter page with a full postcode. If you just want to read about Freeview and what they are doing then it may be best to visit Freeview | All your favourite TV shows, all in one place and all for free
