Richard Fielden: Thankyou for your comments re-my problems with Hanington which have helped. Having tried another downlink from my splitter it points to a poor connection somewhere in the previous downlink. Because the com mux s are at a lower power than the big boys I think they just can't break through: no problem at all with even the HD channel signal though which misled me to blame the transmitter. On the other downlink although the power and quality is somewhat erratic it does not seem to affect the TV picture - clever this digital stuff!

Doug Morrison: We are in Yateley using Hanington transmitter and sometime last week we lost Sky News on 233. Further investigation shows we no longer seem to be receiving ARQA, ARQB or SDN channels. Main BBC and ITV ones ok including HDTV. Would like to know if this has happened to anyone else, or could bad weather have affected aerial such that only weaker signals lost? It is the same on our TV and our talktalk freeview box.
