Please check your aerial cab,es and connections as there is no reported problem at the Oxford transmitter. If you have coaxial plugs/sockets, please unplug them and refit. That will clear any corrosion/oxidation from the contacts which is a well known and common cause of the problems you report"
As a retired TV and video/electronics technician of over 45 years I can assure you my aerial system and connections/equipment are 99.9 percent also other people nearby have mentioned to me and asking "did your TV programmes go off this morning" so I suggest someone is not admitting there was a fault!

MikeP: Thanks for your reply, I also have been involved with nearly all of the major TV radio and video repair/rental companies from 1965 until 1995 and also had my own business repairing all types of domestic and some commercial equipment, I am puzzled why at least six people over a roughly 3 mile area have mentioned they had the same problem to me.
Alright if there wasn't a problem as you say then it must remain a mystery situation, the symptoms were pixel break up along with freezing and complete loss of signal with No Video and No signal messages appearing on screen and this corrected itself on all channels at almost exactly 10.00am.
We will leave the issue here as it is no use making further comments about it, thank you Mike.
