david: you can get a scart component thatturns into an rf modulator from some internet sites, tho i do believe these wont work with some sky compatible distributters or magic eyes ?

done a signal check on belper relay today on a comunual aerial and was getting a signal of around 55 db's. no amp fitted at souece but a labgear distributter with a sat dish an quattro lnb fitted for the flats, aerial was an abc quad 8 fitted correctly. high signals but not locked onto digital? got a 10 element wideband contract aerial for signal testing an got same results? i can see transmitter on the hill even tho i was in a dip. i thought maybe to much signal but the 10 element should have locked on? any ideas?

lots of aerials on the relay but some also on sutton coldfield which has a similer alignment.

yes to much of a good thing ! so just stood on a roof with a contract 10 element w/b in hand and a short cable into my meter, i cant try it any simpler ?

this is my first experiance of the signal being to strong at first source?
was going back to try that as i wasnt sure about work on transmitter on my first visit?
could the strong signals cause a quatro lnb on a dish to fail if they go to the same distributter as this has also stopped working? longshot?

wasnt the bsb squarial a white square sat dish that came the same time as sky started?
and eventually lost to sky in a vhs/betamax style war?
i believe sky bought them out and renamed themselves "british sky broadcasting"?
still see the odd dish but few an far between?

what i meant for A.W. was a download for a sat box to auto line up its channels as per freesat slots rather than find an store method a lot of boxes use.
i know it exists but not sure where?

the best way to connect your sky hd box to other tv's is to use sky rf2 port on the rear of the box, your tv aerial needs to be connected to the sky box if you and someone else want to watch different channels on different tv's ?
not sure what you mean about connecting a tv to other tv's ?

i have yet to see a tv programme only one sky to show in the weekly top ten ? sky would have to think twice about losing eastenders and corro ! wether you (like me)hate them or not!
