We live in Burley in Wharfedale (The Copse) and currently get analogue only from the Wharfedale trasmitter.
Zooming into the coverage map shows our house to be in a "white" low signal area, so I assume we will get a poor signal from the Wharfedale transmitter (and none from Emsley Moor) after DSO?
My reading so far indicates that following DSO we will be limited to Freesat, only, if we want more than the current 4 analogue (BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel4) channels we currently receive.
Is this correct, or will we be able to get more channels from FreeView with the right box/built in receiver?
If we are able to use FreeView, to which transmitter should we point any new aerial following DSO?
Any recommendations for splitting any signal between rooms (expect to add an additional TV to our current 2 sometime this year)? Currently have co-ax to 4 or 5 rooms with an analogue booster/splitter in the loft.
Apologies for lengthy post, but the more I look into this the more hideous this all appears to be.
