Thanks, Briantist, no realignment necessary, then?

Thanks again Briantist - I was confused by the fact that The Wrekin is shown on my page as being 28.0 km from my home, while Wrekin B is 28.1 km! Must be a very big mast!!

Since the partial switchover on 6th April I have been able to retune most of my equipment, but have not been successful with my Alba STB8 set top box. Although I followed the instructions for a first time instalation; of the BBC channels, only BBC1 is consistently available. I get a NO CHANNEL message and a list of new channels and deleted channels which bear no resemlance to reality!

Thanks for your help, Briantist. All working perfectly since the retune was completed on 20th April.

Why is it that, despite them being described in exactly the same way, I can receive COM4 and COM6 almost perfectly, but cannot receive COM% at all?
I receive my TV from the Wrekin transmitter using a roof aerial.

Thank you, Briantist. However, the problem does not seem to be single frequency interference, as COM5 is on channel 44 and the only UHF output I have is on channel 21. In any case, I have tried switching off the device and retuning, but I still get no signal on COM5 stations (E4+1, Sky News, etc). Neither is the fault intermittent - it is permanent.

I live, as you have noted, in Wombourne. At present I receive from Wrekin B via a roof-mounted aerial. I note that Wrekin B will no longer be transmitting after switchover. Will Wrekin be my best transmitter, or where; and will I need to realign my aeerial?
