Freeview intermittent interference

Moved to just over a year ago and have been barely able to get an let alone a sniff of digital. That was until yesterday (30th June 2011) when to my surprise my weekly came up with 24 . Ok some appear to be intermittent but one must not complain. Any ideas why I have been suddenly so blessed?
