Mazbar - do you also have a good signal from Wales over the sea?

Very upright place, Reigate.

No lounging on the back.

Resolve your interference problems

MikeW - Is that an incessant and little varying 6.5 mins, or do you have periods of good reception?

Do you have neighbours to compare notes with?

Are you using an amp of any sort? Worth trying one if not - they are cheap, and you may be able to return of not needed.

Sounds like a fault. Timing could be coincidental. How old is it?

Try googling the model mumber to see if others have same.

And phone the mfrs to see what they say.

Sarby - IIUC you do not wish to watch the Freeview which the TV can tune itself, with a conventional aerial, but to use it as a monitor to watch Satellite TV using your sky box.

This should be easy once you press the right buttons, but may require RTFM.

Or a phone call to Sky help.

Was it set up by Sky with a previous TV set?

Cables sometimes hidden in packaging.
