Hi Nothing is turned on or off in house.Tv has gone off again from 5:30pm it is now 6:30pm it says there are no programmes listed when it goes off.I t has only started happening last two weeks.Live in Leeds

Hi This is driving me mad now.My Tv goes off for about 2 hrs a day ,can be anytime but mainly evenings.I can pick up analogue reception for main 5 station while off(transmitted from Tyne Tees I think)but no freeview.I live in Leeds and have great reception usually.Sound goes first and then picture.No weather interference or electric.Can anyone help.Only started 4 weeks ago.Neighbours ok

Hi getting soick of this now.I live in a strong signal area but keep losing freeview ,can switch to analogue and pick up three staions from Tyne Tees (who have not changed over yet) my tv has built in freeview,bought a hd unit connected that but same happens.Cannot retune while off air as will not reload as nothing there.Bought an annulator as told signal too strong but still goes off ,presently off for two days!!! Tunesd into Yorkshire and live in Leeds
Will need a glazier soon as going to put it through window!!lol

Oh forgot to mention ,when it goes off can hear pitta patter sounds as though signal trying to get through (no its not mice )and sometime loud crackling sounds.

I bought an attenulator before but makes no difference.Now freeview comes on for 10 mins then goes off again,so resort to analogue Tyne Tees.Tv Model LG32LC2DB.I am getting really fed up now.Tried pulling plug out and arial but no difference still doesnt come on.

Attenulator is 0-20db
my ariel is outside on roof and worked perfectly when changeover happened up until Jan then started playing up.
Can get analogue though with Tyne Tees.Currently no freeview at all.
My tv is Hd ready so bought hd box to convert to hd which worked for a couple of days then all went off again.
Ron Lake kept checking on this site to see if any problems with Emley Moor but it always says no probs,but people keep telling me there are.
Gonna try a portable to see if it works.Fingers crossed !!

Update on my freeview problems.
Thanks for all your advise guys.Had to buy a portable in the end to see if it was signal or Tv,and it works perfectly.Booked engineer to fix TV as looks like componant gone somewhere,so it is going in TV hospital for repair.Visiting times to follow lol.At least buying portable was cheaper than getting ariel man out as that would have been a waste of money in the end.Thanks again

I am losing my signal everynight about 9pm and have just lost it again at 09:30am.It goes off for about an hour.It is driving me mad as missing my favourite programmes.Is maintenance causing this and how long will it go on for ?
