thanks for replying braintist it has had my totally confused the wire from the sky dish is only 8 or 9 metres long when it was first installed they had to put an extender arm on the dish as to close to my house and he said then if that didnt work he might have to put it on the other side of my house so I've got another extender arm and will try making it even further from my house see if that improves the signal i mean i get most channels so not really worth me shifting it to the other side of my house but it just bugs me i cant get some of the hd channels i also have a single lnb and thinking of swapping it when i put the other extender arm on it

the dish is pointing what looks like straight down the side of my house and next doors and the next set of houses in the street are not directly in the way but close but other houses in my street are all a bit weird some have dishes on the same side some have them on the other side am gonna get one of them dish pointer meters off ebay as well just to see if i cant improve the signal a little as it seems to have a good signal strength on most channels around 75% to about 84%

i dont think there is anything in the way but the way the houses are built it might be pointing back inwards that is at the next set of houses in my street not really sure if that will affect the dish as about 12 to 15 meters from the dish just thought as he said he needed a extender arm when he put it in that if i put another one on there it would push it a little further from my house and as i only need to improve my signal a little bit

hi have you thought of sky? take it indoor aerial not working i have a 50gain indoor aerial i got from ebay for about £16 and use it in work which is really hard to get a signal but i can get everything on digital tv this aerial i found 100 times better than the one i got in tesco for £35 i think it only had a 45gain

hi just to say i sorted my openbox s9 viewing probs in the end i replaced the lnb from a quad to a single feed and it started working straight away was told i was only getting high banned and not the low band signal channels this was by a neighbour not a pro so not sure just happy all the channels are now working i have an aerial in my attic pointing at the wenvoe mast but the signal is terrible would a booster help or should i put it outside of my house my post code is cf3 0bf cheers .

hi it seems to be the wenvoe mast im picking up as getting bbc1 on channel 41 and itv on channel44 and not getting itv3

i use whats on mag as my epg not very good what channels are you looking for most are in the mag not all but Enough for me though

hi have recently stopped paying the rip off sky and bought a openbox s9 box . My sky dish has 2 feeds coming from the dish at first i plugged one into the openbox and one into the sky box also run a wire from the openbox to the sky box so it still had 2 feeds my problem is this at times when watching the openbox i got all the hd channels but now sky has ended i have removed the sky box so only have the one feed going to the openbox but some of the channels are now not working have tried the other feed just in case was also thinking of extending the distance between the sky dish and my house as it already has a little extender arm on it or could it be a bit simpler like the lnb settings any advice or tips more than welcome thanks in advance
