My local Freeviewtransmitter is Sutton Coldfield. I live in Erdington. Freeview channel 74 seems to be beset with problems, mainly major pixellation, and no signal. I frequently select channel 74, only for the screen prompt:- "Invalid channel" to be displayed. I followed the procedure to check that the channel line was empty. It was. I reconnected the aerial and scanned again. The channel line up was restored, but channel 74 was still unavailable. All other Freeview channels are working fine, and picture - perfect.
Any suggestions?
