Thanks. It looks we are a speck of poor reception in the midst of a robust indoor reception area. I do find it puzzling that we can get the national multiplexes but not the local one when they all use the same transmitter. But perhaps it's different transmitters or aerials at the same location.

We get good reception in Scone, near Perth, of the BBC national and Commercial national multiplexes from Kirkton Mailer transmitter just using the trailing wire aerial on the set. We get no reception for BBC Scotland or the other 11B channels that are also broadcast from Kirkton Mailer. I had thought about changing fully to digital since analogue reception is not good (In the garden I can change channels by moving my body without touching the radio!). I won't change if I can't get Radio Scotland.
