Below are all of Derek McLean's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page. Why is Craigkelly not appearing in the above list? It shows my most likely transmitters as Angus, Blackhill and Durris.
But Craigkelly is my nearest mast, at 25 miles, and it's the one that offers me the Edinburgh STV programme. And it does give me strong signals - although, perversely, the STV signal on rf24 is not as good as that from Durris.
As for Angus, well, that's a joke. Mind you, my aerial is pointing to Blackhill, so I can't expect to get a signal from Angus. This makes it all the more surprising that I get a good signal from Durris, 73 miles away on an almost perpendicular bearing. (NT621742)

I'm now getting the 'Starting soon' trail too. Signal quality is 10/10, which is actually better than the higher-powered transmission of STV from Craigkelly. I've even seen a friend of mine in the trail!

STV Edinburgh and STV Glasgow were merged into STV2 a year or two ago.
STV2 has since been discontinued and its Freeview channel 8 number is now showing That's TV Scotland.

Anybody have any idea when ETV is starting? It's meant to be today, according to the info in the main Craigkelly site.
I'm in Stenton, near Dunbar, about 100m above sea level, looking out over the Forth. I almost have a line of sight to Craigkelly, which is about 25 miles away, on a bearing of about 288 degrees; i.e. I'm ESE of the mast.
I'm getting two channels on that MUX (rf30) with a strong signal. But there's no sign of ETV at 17:05 today - ten minutes ago as I write this. Maybe they've revised the start-up date and haven't told anybody. (NT621742)
