Sutton Coldfield (Birmingham, England) Full Freeview transmitteSaturday 22 January 2011 6:51PM

Hi, Dennis,
Thanks for that. Yes it's a 1080p with a dvb-t2 receiver. But great news, I also received a PSU with the aerial, connected it in today and now get the hd channels. If I switch it off the channels go. Maybe on 21/09/11 I might get them without the need for the PSU.
Cheers,
Geoff.

Hi Dennis,
It's a Samsung LE40c750. The specifications include a DVB-T2 receiver, 1080p and 3d ready. When I tuned it in without the PSU I got 104 digital channels. With the PSU fitted I got 108. Choose channel 50 on the remote and BBC1HD comes up. The same with the other hd channels. As I said, if I watch an hd channel with the PSU on, no problem, but if I switch it off the channel goes off.
Cheers,
Geoff.

I bought a full hd tv at Xmas. On tuning it I get a total of 104 channels. Excellent digital freeview but NO hd. Reception figures are around 60-70%. I bought a Televes 45 but still no difference from my old one! I know it's a loft aerial, But at that signal figure, why can't I get hd. I believe my transmission is from Sutton Coldfield. On checking the internet I am supposed to receive good hd from this transmitter so why can't I get it!
