Julian Fasler.Bury St Edmunds.
Yes ArqA along with SDN and ArqB are now broadcasting on 100kw apiece.
As for the missing programmes you stated did you rescan your appliance.
Better still perform a full reset of your appliance then with the aerial unplugged do a automatic scan,it will pick up zero channels. Now after this plug the aerial back in only this time preferably manual scan the channels instead,it should work !

Collette Murphy.Unless you leave a full postcode or nearby location as such,we cannot be of valuable assistance to you.
As for your last sentence, everybody who receives television viewing equipment whether it be the TV itself, video or digital versatile disc recorder even the personal computer and mobile phone, etc, still have to pay the licence fee whether they view it all the time or not at all.Absurd it may be but that is the law im afraid,i myself dont watch much TV but i still have to pay for my own TV licence, whether i like it or not.
If you want to avoid paying the TV licence fee then you will have to ditch all TV viewing equipment altogether, not just the TV.

Julian Fasler. No problem. Is it just the ArqA multiplex you are having a problem with.
If as you stated the problem lies with your elderly aerial is it coloured yellow at its tips, denoting a group B aerial.
If so you may have to replace your aerial with a group E semi-wideband type coloured brown at its tips, either a Yagi 18E or an X-Beam 16E antenna, and simultaneously replace both the aerial cable with superior copper-copper black coloured co-ax cable and co-ax aerial plug, preferably brass aerial plugs, not alloy or worse plastic plugs they're useless.

T.Porter.Yes,if you reset your appliance and auto scan with aerial unplugged you will lose all your channels temporarily.
But wait, once you perform the above sentence plug aerial back in then manual scan instead,it should work.

John Stead,Margate.Try rescanning the affected multiplex as such or there is the possibility of a short term atmospheric or inversion effect in your locality right now.
