Thanks for your help, just another question.
we have wall mounted tv sockets in our house,one in the living room and one in the kitchen. as we no longer use a tv aerial the cable is disconected in the loft. is there any way of connecting the cables together and using the two wall boxs to connect the two TVS to my Sky box.

Just had another look in th loft there are actually 4 cables all connected to 4 wall plates in the house. found the cable for the kitchen and the one for the living room shall i just connect these two together. sorry to be a pain.

How can I connect my TV in the kitchen to the sky HD Box and TV in my living room.
