Below are all of Adey's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Briantist - with regard to Wendi's problem with CB radio. when she mentioned old cb ,i immediately thought Aunty Mary (AM).If this is the case then as far as i'm aware it was totally outlawed years ago and you can be prosecuted.I'm not sure if it affects digital signals though. Might be worth checking it out Wendi.

Hi all-just had a call from my daughter to say her TV has gone blank. Her TV has a built in tuner and i'm waiting for a return call to see if she can recieve analogue. We're in the Swindon area (SN3).Does anybody know if the Oxford transmitter is down ?.If not i know it's the built in tuner. Has anyone experienced this kind of problem?. Kind regards.....

Many thanks to Malcolm & Robert for your input. Unfortunately it was the digital tuner in the T.V .She pluged in an old sony freeview box and all is well again for now.

Does anybody know if the freeview channels not on freesat will become available to freesat and are there any plans to increase HD channels on freesat?.

Hi Brian , many thanks for your reply.I thought i'd ask about freesat because i've got a sky sat dish on the house and it's been doing zilch for the last 17months and i want to cut back on my virginmedia package as much as possible. With ref to deals that sky have with other broadcasters, what are we looking at 10 - 15yrs.If this is the case i think that sky are bloody cheeky , and i don't see why they should have the monopoly on tv channels.Over priced and over rated.

Hi guys, just been reading about aerials on the above page. The bit of info i would like is the bit about keeping aerials apart. After seeing lots of houses with up to three aerials on one mast, does this interfere with the freeview thats recieved by them?. I have one aerial at present and was thinking of adding a second, but i think the mast i have may be too short. The distance from the first aerial is about 3ft higher than the chimney pot.

Hi Steve P,many thanks for your reply. The reason for a second aerial was to feed the bedroom as the first serves the main tv in the lounge.I'm currently on VM but about to made redundant in the next 5 months so have to make cut backs.
