timonthenet,
The Nottingham transmitter (at Kimberley) is a repeater from Waltham afaik, therefore Nottingham can't get anything different from Waltham.

Briantist, thank you for clarifying Waltham vs. Nottingham signal source. When Nottingham switches on 13-April, does the power ramp up on that day? Just wondering whether to try receiving DTV from there instead of Waltham. Nottingham's analogue signal is too weak for me hence I pointed aerial to Waltham (strong analogue and reasonable DTV).

Possible fix for reception of incorrect signal. Have seen one or two posts about incorrect transmitters being received. I am on Waltham but PVR picked up a low mpx from Nottingham (twenty something) and stored those channels (particularly ITV1). It didn't overwrite them with what would have been stronger signals from Waltham (or maybe it did but put them out of sight - I didn't go looking). Nottingham is just about 180 degs from Waltham where I am. Despite claims to the contrary, all aerials have some gain at 180 degs (opposite direction from where it's pointing). To fix, I cleared all channels from the PVR then did a manual scan on the five Waltham multiplexers. Problem solved.

Gary:
Hi Gary, welcome to this forum. In short, the answer is no. The Freeview tuner in the TV doesn't present an output, it is just used internally.

I've lost 3, 4, 5, etc. (multiplex 2), same as you Johnny so let's not blame our setup just yet!
