Retuned freeview boxes this morning 2 boxes ok but TVonics MDR251 has all PSB2 programmes in the 800 range starting with STV at 800. Strange thing is after retuning box gives options of 2 regions to select. If region 1 is selected PSB2 programmes are in 800 range if region 2 is selected PSB2 is normal but all other MUXES are in 800 range. Both regions are called 'Central Scotland' but the subtle difference is region 2 has a full stop after the name ie 'Central Scotland.' Help!

A question for Freeview user in Scotland

BBC Alba may have a place but the price is far too high. As for the consultation the first I knew about it was when my wife asked me what happened to Radio 4 on 15th June. We listen or should I say listened to Radio 4 and The World service on Freeview in the evening. DAB reception is not very good indoors where we are in Pencaitland whereas the TV reception is good. If BBC Parliament quarter page can solve this problem and lead to the reinstatement of evening time radio transmission then it should be pursued. Question is how to make it happen?

Re my post on 15th June. Craigkelly's PSB2 channel no longer has the 'full stop' after Central Scotland. My TVonics MDR 251 STB now tunes in correctly with all the stations in the correct order. Mike - TVonics 'help' was less than useful. All channels give good signal with 42 and 45 slightly lower than the rest at about 95% indicated on the green bar. Reception area Pencaitland Aerial Televes DAT45 with MRD.

TTD. Is new flying lead pulling in Blackhill transmissions that is confusing recorder? I had a similar problem at switchover when one of the MUXs had a full stop after Central Scotland and it caused half the TV programmes to go into the 800s. (that lasted a couple of weeks until it was corrected).

Post 3rd October for the 700 MHz clearance Digital UK website recommends a Group T aerial as Com 7 and Com 8 are moving to channels 55 and 56 resp. Your information recommends a Group A aerial and makes no mention of Com7 & 8. Since channels 55 & 56 are in the 700MHz range is this just a temporary move? Any ideas?
