My video doesn't work with my digital TV box, help! | Help!

I have a panaxonic Tv & dvd player and an Icecrypt
freeview
box.
I have put a
scart
leade from the box to the tv and have put a scart lead from the dvd to the freeview box but I cant see the dvd when I turn tit on and press play - any ideas?
