My recent post did not include the fact that the Samsung box no longer talks to the TV and I cannot get any picture or sound, tried on my other CRT and worked until tuned off the box and then same problem now when switched back on. Connected old sky box and both Tv's still fine, So what has Showcase done?

jb38: The freesat box switches on and lights up with SHOWCSE2. Cannot switch programmes manually or remotely. TV not show sound or picture. TV however responds with old sky box which I had hoped I had replaced with newer samsung digital box

I use digital receiver/recorder on satellite and watch on CVT TV. Suddenly box froze and came up with"SHOWCSE2" even though I have never watched the channel. Any idea how to cancel showcase 2 and get back all the other channels?
Your help appreciated
