Can anyone please offer suggestions as to why all BBC TV reception is very poor (except HD channels) but all other commercial channels are received well and do not " break-up"?
I live on higher ground in rural Angus, surrounded by fields and my TV aerial is "high gain" . My new Panasonic worked well for the first three months then the BBC (analogue?) channels started to break-up. Re-tuning has no affect. For about a month after the problem started, every time the TV was switched on I got a message that "new channels had been detected" and I would have to re-tune the set. Which I did, with no improvement.
I used the BBC site to check the reception in my area and there are no apparent problems for HD but there is no analogue for the area.
Any help to resolve this problem would be appreciated.
