Tom Linson: so far since the retune I have seen to over 70 tv's and not. One has had a problem if you carn't retune and get the results right call out an aerial man and he will do it in 10 mins a pain yes a cost you didn't expect yes but sometimes you have to do things you don't want.

Tom Linson: sorry if you have taken it the wrong way what I meant is sometimes you need help if you have a problem that you find hard to solve. Lots of people have done the retune ok some tv's are easier than others on this site people post who have problems if you have followed all the good advice offered by dave Lindsay and jb38 you might need to call someone out. Winter hill covers about 5000000 people if there was a problem with the transmitter trust me this site would be swamped. Once again sorry if I offended you.

agnes malcolm: there is also one other thing it could be you might have changed your scart input to super VHS this is normally shown a s next to the input

vincent: you could be picking up either storton, welsh,or sklmersdale as well as winter hill I know you are not on a communal aerial as I know the estate are you in the flats or the houses. Arrian Green: did the aerial man come out to check the aerial or did you call him ?

Arrian Green: you do need to check the aerial to know if it is working. Don't use 0800 numbers plus most aerial riggers are self employed and work from home to keep overheads down so if they have a shop all you are doing is paying there rent. Hope this helps

James : how old is your mothers aerial if it is over 10 years I might just need replacing. Luckily for your mother she lives in the cheapest area for tv aerials in England.

cake: there is nothing wrong with the transmitter you need to do a factory reset and then a retune
