Jane Bristow: You're predicted to receive a signal from the Ravenscar transmitter (approximately 5km roughly south east from your postcode). If you aren't getting any signal from the aerial on your roof, the best option would be to contact a reputable aerial installer who can check your aerial installation and determine why it isn't working. Another option would be to install a satellite dish and get Freesat, which would give you far more channels that are available from the Ravenscar transmitter, at a one off cost for the box+dish and installation.

Cliff: Is this with a factory fitter DAB radio or an aftermarket radio or adaptor? What type of aerial are you using?

Alun Davies: Unfortunately the DAB maps on this website has been broken for a while. BBC Radio Wales can be found on the South East Wales multiplex on VHF block 12C.

Jean Willey: Full HD refers to the screen resolution, not the tuner as MikeP incorectly stated. You need either a TV or box with a DVB-T2 tuner (usually labelled Freeview HD or Freeview Play) which according to Toshiba's website your TV doesn't have. You can get a Freeview HD set top box (such as the Manhattan Plaza HD-T2) for under 50 if you aren't intending to replace your TV any time soon.

David Parry-Jones: This website doesn't operate any transmitters. There is a DAB transmitter at Rhosfach Farm near Oswestry which broadcasts the BBC National multiplex and the Wolverhampton & Shropshire local multiplex.

Glynn: The receiver block (LNB) on the dish arm used for Sky Q isn't compatible with Freesat or SkyHD boxes, unless a hybrid LNB was fitted which is compatible with both. You would need to replace the Sky Q LNB with either a hybrid LNB or universal LNB used by Freesat and SkyHD boxes.

John Roberts: Signal strength hasn't been reduced on Darvel or any other transmitter. It's likely that your aerial system is degrading and you are receiving less signal as a result. Please provide a postcode so we can see the signal prediction for your exact location.

MikeP: You are incorrect. Full HD refers only to the resolution and not the tuner. There are many TVs on sale which are labelled Full HD because they have a 1920x1080 panel but do not have a DVB-T2 tuner. Jean Wiley would indeed be able to receive COM7 from Ridge Hill, however Toshiba's website confirms that the TV model number she has does not have a DVB-T2 tuner.
