khaleesi: Pairing is only required for some subscription channels (mostly HD channels I believe).

DAVID COLLINGS: The transmitter was probably taken off air by the same power cut. By retuning you have deleted all of your channels which were correctly tuned (retuning will never fix a lack of signal and generally just makes things worse). If you can, check with a neighbour who hasn't retuned to find out if the transmitter is back on air, then retune again and your channels should be restored.

Samantha Henderson: If you check the Rumster Forest Freeview page (this is the DAB page) you'll see that there has been engineering work carried out at the transmitter in the last 24 hours, which may still be ongoing.

John Danby: The Avoch transmitter has recently undergone engineering work which involved frequency changes as part of the clearance of the 700MHz band. The Digital UK checker shows a retune event on 23rd August for Avoch so you should retune your TV, then contact the Freeview advice line (see https://www.freeview.co.u…ges) if you are still missing any channels which you received before.

Mrs A MacAskill: There are no plans to add any additional channels to any lite transmitters such as Fodderty. The commercial broadcaster were given the opportunity to add their channels to additional transmitters at digital switchover, but were not interested in doing so.

pat mc mahon: Retuning will never fix a loss of signal, all you've succeeded in doing is deleting ITV (and other channels) which were tuned correctly. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connectors behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so we can see which transmitter you're using, where you are in relation to it and predicted coverage at your location.

Paul Ellison: This is not the website or either The Chase or Challenge TV. According to Wikipedia, The Chase is made by a production company called Potato, which is owned by ITV Studios, so I would suggest contacting them with your question.

Julia Neal: Is you Sky box a HD version or is it one of the old non-HD models? If you have a SkyHD box, just connect a HDMI cable from the Sky box to one of the HDMI sockets on the TV. You can only receive satellite TV via a satellite receiver (i.e. a Sky or Freesat box) you would need an aerial to either connect to the TV directly or via a Freeview box.

khaleesi: Sky News HD is a subscription channel. I'm surprised if pairing is required for London Live.
