Below are all of StevensOnln1's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.kuergun: Planet Rock changed frequency earlier this year and is now available from fewer transmitters than before. If you haven't already done so, perform a full scan on your radio to update the station list and you may find that a new entry for Planet Rock appears. If you provide a postcode we'll be able to see which transmitters cover your area and offer further advice.

Briantist: BBC National DAB from Icomb Hill in Gloucestershire seems to be completely missing from the map even though it's been on air for a couple of years along with the Gloucestershire local mux. Also, the link to Icomb Hill (Gloucestershire, England) DAB transmitter just brings up the Map of all DAB Transmitters page.

Brian Stanley: There will be frequency changes across most transmitters in the country starting from next year although Ofcom haven't published any new frequency allocations for DTT transmitters yet as far as I'm aware. There seems little point speculating about what interference may be caused between two overlapping transmitters when final frequency allocations are not yet known.

Briantist: Thanks for that Brian, the page is now loading correctly and showing the Gloucestershire mux, however BBC National mux is still missing. BBC Reception Advice pages have it listed as being on air from Icomb Hill at 1kw since Feburary 2014.

Alan Ross: Your postcode is already predicted to receive good coverage from the Ness of Lewis transmitter and almost as good for the PSB muxes from Eitshal. There are no plans to increase power on any transmitters and why would there be any reason to when all transmitters have been at their full power levels since digital switchover was completed over 4 years ago?

David Johnston: Take a look at the signal strenths on the channels that are working, you'll probably find they are very high (i.e. 90% plus). Having too much signal can cause the tuner to become overloaded, with HD channels being particularly susceptible to this problem. If your amplifier has a gain control, try turning it down, otherwise you may need to fit an attenuator to reduce your signal strength a bit. Take a look at the article titled "Too much of a good thing" on this website for more information.
As you've already retuned, you'll probably find the missing channels have been deleted from your program guide, so you'll have to rescan again to add them back after making adjustments. In future, do not retune if you loose signal as retuning will never cause a channel which is already tuned in correctly to reappear.

David Johnston: I agree that it is a problem affecting the PSB3 mux, however there are no faults with the transmitter so it has to be something within your system. Have you investigated my earlier suggestion of too much signal strength?

John: Front Runner is on COM8 along with the QVC HD shopping channels. Do you receive these channels (or any other HD channels) on your TV's inbuilt tuner?

Lesley Page: There are no free channels on cable, to get any service you have to subscribe. The channels available to you depend on which package you have subscribed to, details of which can be found on Virign Media's website.
