Below are all of David 's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.I have exactly the same issues as Mr Ken Reaveley refers to above. My Panasonic recorder was working fine prior to the upgrade on Thursday last week. Now I cannot record HD channels. I had a similar issue back in January 2018 with the BBC4 upgrade. Panasonic are denying the problem lies with them and it is a Freeview matter. In January it seems that the matter was resolved after some days when Panasonic and Freeview got together and did what ever was necessary with the codes to enable the HDD recorders to operate properly.
Please would you look at this matter to restore the service to customers (AV Forums suggest that it is not just Mr Reaveley and myself that have been affected by this issue) Please post information to let us know what is happening and when the solution is expected.

I understand that Freeview is onto the matter. (Same gentleman from Freeview who sorted the similar problems out in January 2018) and a solution is expected. Freeview will advise when it is done following contact with Panasonic. Seems to be accepted that Freeview equipment is experiencing difficulties and Freeview will lead on sorting it out.

Just tried the potential solution posted by Mr Ken Reaveley on Monday. Regrettably, on my Panasonic machine, it did not facilitate the recording of any of the HD channels which have been affected by the signal update from last week.

Thank you Mike for the suggestion as to how to be able to record the HD channels. I followed your guidance and allowed 20 mins with unit unplugged. Unhappily, nothing has changed.

Dave at Freeview is a very helpful contact and it seems that he may have solved the problem. I have no issues with my Panasonic DMRBWT720 recorder this morning and recording the once "missing channels". I checked early yesterday evening and still had the problem of not being able to record so it seems the problem has been solved in the last 12 hours or so.
Thanks to everyone on the Forum and others who helped to get a result this time around

Hi
I have "lost" Yesterday TV following a re-tune of my TV and Hard Disk recorder (twin tuners). All other stations are returned as they were except for this one. On a secondary TV with a Digi-box Yesterday is still received with no problems. I dare not re-tune for fear of also losing from this arrangement.
Any assistance on how to recover this station would be most gratefully received
