Chris Welton:
Thank you for clearing that up. What a rip-off ! Glad you told me before I had the antenna upgraded.
Fortunately I have Freesat on a box (Freeview is built-in on the Sony Bravia). The only real problem is not being able to record from the Freesat side through to the attached external hard-drive.

The Freesat box is a Grundig GUFSAT02SD and the external HD is attached to the Sony usb port. I have recorded a film from a Freeview program and as can be seen from the Grundig box model, it has only one scart connection. (54.9667,-4.4833)

Very irritating problem with subtitling on several channels. Frequently held up then there will be a rush of them.
Is this a failure of my Grundig box or station broadcast?

I would like to know how I can access Alibi. At the moment I have Freeview and Freesat and
unlimited broadband on a Sony Bravia TV.
Thank you for any suggestions.

I don't understand the reasoning behind the 'light' set of Freeview channels and looking at the list shown ( thanks Rob) it would appear that my reception in Minnigaff/Newton Stewart is even less than 'light' ! =8(;

Unfortunately, the BBC IS (underlined) a State broadcaster, albeit private and not public. Witness the comparison between the attitude toward. Scotland and towards the Union. Professor John Robertson has tirelessly examined the BBC output in such cases and has demonstrated the unrelenting bias.

I have a question about the minimum number of channels available from Freeview which are seen at DG8 6PX.
My antenna is mounted on the roof (chimney) and is pointed to Cambret.
