Hi all,

This site is fantastic, I've learnt so much from just these few posts so thank you to you guys! Thought I'd throw in my own little question too as I havnt seen a complete answer to my situation.

I've moved into a new place, and unfortunately cant find a traditional coaxial socket. The only thing available is this Virgin Media connection (F-plug) thing which was left by the previous tenant. Seen here:

Is this a TV connection, or would it be for fibre optic internet? There isn't any other TV connection in the house, but there is a phone line (suggesting this would have to be the tv connection)

Ideally, I don't want to have to pay a monthly subscription to Virgin or have to pay for a unit. What would I need to get to receive the basic freeview channels? Or could I just plug this cable straight into a tv with a set-box unit and receive freeview?

Thanks for the help in advance guys!
