Below are all of B Saberton's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Today is the first day for some time that I've been able to view the Freeview HD channels with only occasional, and minimal, interference. What I've noticed in the last few days is that, when looking at the signal strength and quality via the system menu on my Freeview box, there was either no signal at all for channel 59 or, alternatively, the signal strength would be ok (around 63%) but the signal quality was fluctuating wildly between zero and 100% and all points in between. This is what seemed to be causing the picture to break up all the time.

David/Robbo. It's strange, but since Friday last week (5th Feb) I've enjoyed completely trouble free viewing on all 4 HD channels until late last night when the signal disappeared and it is still not on today.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting the HD Channnels. I have a Humax HDR Fox T2 box, a loft mounted wide band aerial and am 6 miles from the transmitter. When first tuned in I got 80 TV channels but none of the HD ones. I tried re-tuning on 15th Jan and got all 4 HD channels ok and worked fin at first but as the week went on I could only view them intermittently and by Friday although they appear in the EPG with programme details I was getting no signal at all. I've tried re-tuning again today but am back to just 80 channels and no HD. The signal strength on the non HD channels is averaging 80% with signal quality 100%. When I had the HD channels signal strength was about 60% and quality 100%. I've checked that aerial alignment is ok and there don't appear to be any problems at the transmitter (my first thought was that the HD transmission might be off). Does anyone have any suggestions please?
