Below are all of Steve Parr's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Thank you Chris. My parents house in Wigan on post code WN3 6PZ have exactly the same issue that I have. My house is within walking distance from Winter Hill so I wouldn't have thought that distance would have been an issue.
I tried your suggestion and although it didn't solve the problem for some reason the 6 channels on the offending multiplex moved to channel numbers 800 to 805!! The picture quality was still unwatchable though. Hopefully it is just a temporary problem. :-)

Hi Chris,
I have just checked all the channels on the mux containing TVWarehouse.com and believe it or not they now look fine on both my Freeview sets. Wonder if your phone call triggered something?!!! Thank you very much if it did!! :-)

Hi Chris, you may remember me from a couple of months ago!!
Not sure if anybody else within the Winter Hill transmission area has the dreadful signal quality that I have on channel 27 on frequency 522000mhz. I live around the corner from this transmitter and since the changes earlier this week all of the channels on this mux are unwatchable. Exactly the same thing happened in June when other changes were made. I think you contacted somebody to tell them you were watching a stream of TV Warehouse and the picture was breaking up. I seem to remember you saying they found it difficult to believe!! Miraculously the picture quality improved within an hour of this.

Hi Chris,
On mux 24 my readings are signal strength 100 & signal quality 93 where as on mux 27 I have signal strength 100 & signal quality 30. In other words I have perfect reception on mux 24 and a pixelated picture on all mux 27 channels.

Bolton
Hi there,
After the changes on May 13th I was looking forward to being able to view Now 90's. I know it is a Manchester only channel but I live in Bolton in post code BL1 3LT. The signal quality % fluctuates from the high 90's down to nothing at all. Should my area receive this signal without any interference or am I too far from the transmitter? The reception on every other channel bar the other 5 channels on the same transmitter are perfect.
Many thanks,
Steve
