The Confederations Cup game was on BBC3. Freeview HD had channel 303 for the HD coverage. Freesat didnt have a channel for HD coverage. Luckily Ive got Freeview HD and Freesat HD but I thought it was a bit odd that there was room on the Freeview but not the Freesat when it should be the other way round if anything?

Hi Brian
Yes I tried that and the channel was there but it wasnt actually broadcasting. Strange!

Im amazed BBC3 is still going. If any channel deserves to get pulled its this one! Are the audience figures not bad then I take it? I just cant believe the target audience for BBC3 (under 25's?) really watch BBC3 that much?

Wow, quite surprised at those BBC3 figures. The only thing I have ever watched on that channel was Little Britain (which went sadly downhill after the first series).
As for everything else mentioned on BBC3 - yep thats the reason why I dont watch it!

Viewing angles on modern TV designs much less than old CRT's?
Maybe on LCD/LED's. Not on plasmas. You can watch my plasma from any angle you like in the room and its comfortable. Its one of the obvious advantages of plasma over LCD/LED screens (along with much better blacks of course).

My freesat never goes dodgy - even during torrential rain storms and snow. My freeview however can be dodgy with very bad weather or if its very cold for some reason - it was bad in early January for instance but has been fine since.
