Bbc one south is back on Freeview from the whitehawk transmitter. i hope this is permanent or else give us two slots for BBC one - south- and - south-east - so we have a choice!

Does anyone know if the Whitehawk Hill Brighton transmitter is broadcasting Freeview HD channels?

Do I need to purchase an extra freeview HD box?
My tv has an internal freeview receiver and the analogue terrestrial receiver -now no transmissions.

Briefly we were able to view BBC South by choice on Freeview from Whitehawk. Now that is no longer available and we miss BBC South Local News from Southampton, although we want to be able to choose BBC South East local news on tv too.
