Hi,please could you help in getting my Samsung dvd hr725 (Which has an analogue tuner) to work with my t.v. and set top box.
Set top box is a Philips dtr 210-05--2 scart sockets and the t.v. is an Akura Portable, with inbuit Freeview, operated via a 240/12 volt power supply.
I DID get the tv,set top box to record onto a jvc vcr recorder, by moving the rf2 on the vcr, but I am unable to find any thing in my manual for doing this on the Samsung, although there is a passage in the manual re. connecting a set top box via the connectors on the front of the Samsung,
BUT this did not work anyway!
So, if possible, could you advise whether the Samsung CAN work & record with a Freeview set top box? And if so--HOW?!
I would be very gratefull.
