Nottingham (Nottinghamshire, England) Full Freeview transmitterWednesday 27 April 2011 8:38PM
Ripley
Stewart Crowe: Thanks for that advice. After much deliberation, and with the help of your confirmation that Nottingham IS working, I have realised (by checking the freqencies) that I am actually receiving direct from Waltham rather than Nottingham!
The two transmitters are in almost exactly the same direction from here. So no HD from Waltham until the DSO!
Really pleased that I've found this great website, could not have solved the problem without!

Kelly - Have a chat with Citizens Advice Bureau..they will advise you on your rights.
The job should have been done to reasonable standards without incidental damage, but any reputable firm will always carry third-party insurance for the occasional time when things go wrong, even accidently.
CAB may advise you that you can sue the firm in the Small Claims Court for the cost of a replacement frame (a simple and easy procedure which you can do yourself), but I'd ask them first.

Ripley
I'm in Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3SP.
New (3 weeks) Sony Bravia HD TV...worked intermittently on Emley Moor using ancient aerial (including HD channels). A new wideband aerial was fitted yesterday, receiving Nottingham (as are all neighbour's sets).
ALL digital stations work perfectly, but NO
sign of any of the 4 HD channels.
Retune/resets all tried unsuccessfully.
Is this still this transmitter problems, or do I ring the 0800 number..any help, please?
