update (including me feeling very silly)i disconnected the booster rather than just turn it off and hey presto all channels

I give up i have spent out on new aerial (high gain wideband)new cable and new connectors and guess what i still have only 12 channels all on uhf 29 and weak signal. i wish i had spent the money on getting sky fitted
