30 minutes agoI live in Ninfield by the village green. We have just installed a new Samsung 40" tv. We get perefect pictures on all except BBC1 & BBC2. Our man has checked ,aerial, antiference box cabling & signal strength. All found ok. Samsung sent their engineer who confirmed the set was ok. We have 4 other sets in the house (all samsung)& the rest of them are fine. Their signal strengths (shown on the set) vary from 10 to 82. If you switch the tvs arount to different sockets they retain their own characteristics so its not the sockets. If I retune the 40" digital only in the morning it works with signal strength of 94. By the afternoon the signal drops out to 0 strength & bit error level of 2000! Midway between the breaks down and the signal strength/ bit error alternate between 96/2000. Do you have any ideas or should I just take the set back & get a refund?
