DAB radio in car is used mainly for Radio five live. When switched on, the radio screen shows radio five live as being the receiving station but in fact the sound comes from Radio Scotland and then changes to radio five live. Any ideas as to why that should be? In addition I occasionally lose DAB signal all together (and this happened this very evening at around 1720 whilst in the car in Slateford Road, Edinburgh--all stations were silent. Absolutely no weather problems.) The signal loss can be with the car or with bedroom DAB alarm radio. The DAB signal is not as certain as is the Medium wave or indeed the FM signal. Heaven help us if and when we all have to change to DAB---sorry sir the alarm did not go off this morning will then surely be a stock reason for lateness !!!!!!!!
