Gary: Thanks for the reply Mike; I had done a reset and manual tune; having Googled the problem it would appear normal to take a long time to populate the EPG, I waited 30mins after switch-on, then opened the program guide and found it fully populated. I suspect I may also have too much signal as you suggest; the Humax receives all channels ok, but my more sensitive Panasonic TV reported full signal strength on all channels when manually tuning, but then I found I had a blank screen on ITV channels with a "no signal" error, but perfect ITV picture through the Humax PVR.

Just a quick follow up; my "ITV no signal" issue was down to C31 getting retained after manually tuning to the new channels, everything seems ok now after following Briantist's instructions for clearing old channels. Looks like I'll always have to manually tune though to ensure I get East Mids BBC instead of South Yorks/Lincs for ch1 etc. Thanks for the help; reading other peoples issues helped me to resolve mine, I hope this helps others.

Since the Aug switch over I now find that the PVR EPG load up (Humax PVR-9300T) is painfully slow, but the tv program guide loads in an instant. I've tried a full reset, default settings, rescanning etc to no avail. Any ideas why this would be so slow?
I have no problem with reception, have roof mounted high gain aerial (location LE7 7NH). It's never been fast but selecting BBC1 before opening the EPG seemed to help before.
