JB 38 , i have retuned my 2nd tv using the first installation setting and i now have sound and vision , great . I then tried to set up the commtel satellite tv digital link but i cant get the red light on !! i took the 2nd tv up to the house and over a much shorter connection the red light comes on ! i am assuming that the failure to get it to work in the summerhouse could be due to the distance away from the house ..... about 30 metres and i have read that this COMMTEL producthas a max rang of 30 metres ( it has however worked before in the summer house !!)is there anything i can do ?
Ever in hope

JB38..... Thanks for your reply , looks like i am a bit stuffed !
cable quality should be fine as i bought it off a professional firm who fitted me a couple of aerials .
got a new sky + box about 6 mths ago ... got rid of the old one !
i will try a different brand and check connections but iam not very hopeful .
i am also reluctant to get an enginner to have a look in view of your comments plus it will cost me £50 with no guarantee of success .
Anyway i really appreciate your input .

Regards

Malcolm
