Better Freeview reception after switchover

bpoley: There has been no analogue signal for quite some time now in your area.

Freeview is not designed for mobile reception.

jol: No, only Freeview HD boxes work as the required MPEG4 decoder is not in standard UK boxes. The only exception to this are the BT Vision boxes.

UK and Saorview satellites are incompatible due to the different orbital location.

Alan Ruel: Digital does not "keep breaking up" - if you have such a problem you should fix it, rather than blaming "digital".

There are about 26 million homes in the UK using the digital TV channels and every report ever done shows they love the choice and quality.
