Stuart: Details of BFBS Radio DAB radio station | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice is on the D1 National DAB multiplex and is not carried on Freeview, so having a Freeview box won't get you the station.

You will need a DAB radio to listen or you can listen online - BFBS Radio - Listen live - UK .

jackie: The best thing to do in this situation is probably wait, but you could look for Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Cliff Blake: 108 is carried on COM5/ArqB, you may need to do a "first time" retune to pick the service up.

John Chambers: On a few transmitters, at switchover there has been no change in the output levels of the commercial multiplexes.

However, they have changed their broadcast "mode" to one that allows for more channels to be carried.

This means that some people on the fringes of the reception area find that they will not be able to get service on the ArqA and ArqB multiplexes until the "COM power up" event later on.

If this has happened to you, you can be sure the services will be back on the next date, but there is not much you can do before then.

melissa: It sounds like the box. If the signal was low you would see the usual messages and menus and something saying "NO SIGNAL" or similar.

If you get nothing then the box is probably broken - it is always worth checking the fuse, of course.

m smith : Most high powered transmitters ARE in rural areas. I can't think of anywhere more rural than Emley Moor, for example.

Removing the text channels will result in less than 5% of what is required to carry a television station.
