Joe Friday: You can't watch US television channels in Europe, it's just too far away to get signals from the satellites.

julian darbyshire.: The signal is only 50W, you may have interference or a low signal level.
You might like to try using the "mono" option on your FM receiver to see if that clears the hiss.

Nick Prince: The cost of "fitting" Freesat if you have a dish already is nothing. Just buy a Freesat or Freesat HD box and attach it to the cable that goes tot he dish.
