Tanesha S: Spending money on a new aerial to get Freeview for two months extra is probably a waste of money, and you didn't supply an address so it may not even be possible.

You might find Freesat a good solution, however. All about Freesat | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

John Roberts: I would suggest you get a new box, rather than a second hand one. Even the cheapest boxes today have all the facilities.

I would suggest you stay as far away from a "salesperson" that doesn't know about the digital switchover.

albert fynn: No, you can't use them in Ghana. The Sky satellite signals do not reach there, and Freeview is a UK service.

You can use the Freeview box to receive local services in some places, see http://www.dh-tv.com/Product/Ghana.htm .
