Gary Smith: The only transmitter you have a good chance of getting a line-of-sight to is Kingsbridge (east, 101 degrees, 16km) which is vertical.
However, you need to have an aerial about 25 meters above ground level to achieve a line-of-sight.
To be honest - you should probably use Freesat if you want a reliable reception method.

Ian: On Sky, the channel usually keeps the same slot, but Channel 534 is in the "documentary" section, and this is "entertainment".

Helanca: If you are using satellite, you can just pop in the manual tune values:
10964MHz Horizontal DVB-S 22000-5/6
Channel 5 is on there, plus 5*, 5USA and the timeshifts.
