steve: The words integrity or interpretability do not really work in the context.

"integrity" is used in data processing to indicate the probablility that the data is uncorrupted. As DAB uses FEC (forward error correction) the "integrity" issue is standard to the whole of the broadcast, it does not change over the coverage area.

When you type "interpretability" do you mean "can be interpreted"? As DAB is a digital multiplex, there isn't anything to interpret, only demux.

Razzi: Challenge was not on Freeview until today, it is a replacement for Channel One. Therefore it isn't a reduction in the number of channels provided.

Margaret Grant: If the system uses encryption, then you may need to buy the specified box.

DVB-C can carry MPEG2 and MPEG4 services, so if your system uses MPEG4 you will need a DVB-C/MPEG4 box.

Richard: No, Freesat boxes do not require a card slot, it would add to the price.

Also the NDS Datacom encryption used by Sky only works with their own hardware.

Andy: This is an independent site, I am trying to explain the situation. I'm sorry if it displeases you, but there is no need to besmirch my reputation.

It would be very easy just to simply agree with you, but that would be dishonest.

dave00kane: As long as you've had a subscription with Sky you can do this (as they can take the money from your account), but you can't do it with the "fSfS" option.

Also you must connect the box to the phone line.
