Elizabeth: Yes, you need a Freesat box to use Freesat, they are not compatible with Freeview (which uses an aerial).

Christo: The boxes have no restrictions where they can be used. They will ask your postcode when you set them up, you can enter anything you like, it just chooses the correct ITV and BBC regions for 101, 102, 103.

Tony: As I said, loft aerial are unsuitable for Freeview reception, so I am not in a position to suggest one.
